This is the hardest one to not retain out of our offering. This ‘SAV Angus Valley 1867’ daughter is going to be a superstar. We are big fans of ‘Angus Valley’ here. They have been our best producers in terms of milking ability, foot scores, fertility and longevity. The ‘Angus Valley’ females are the ones that have been here for years, keeping our drums rolling within this business – the needed kind. We use ‘Angus Valley’ each year still and this is another example of why. 2842 is a future herd matron for any program. She carries maternal supremacy on both sides of her pedigree. She is a genetic masterpiece with fashionable style and elite performance. She was our biggest per pound heifer in the group. Weaning off at 898 lbs – from a first calf heifer – nonetheless. Her Dam records this as her first calf and proved to be a remarkable producer. She is a direct daughter of SAV Blackcap May 7842 (a full sister to SAV Linebacker) and was naturally sired by SAV Rainfall 6846. We retained her in our herd and were very glad to do so. This heifer is going to carry the torch on this incredible maternal line of performance and milk power. She is excellent footed and going to be a real treat for any production outfit. We love how deep sided she is, and that straight deep line right towards her udder. A beautiful lady here.
